I don’t know when you’re going to be online and read this, but I hope when you do, you’re not feeling angry or whatever anymore and have had time to think.

I love you. I wish I could show you how much, so you would not doubt that. But it will not be the way of what you were asking me to do. There are limitations with what a woman with dignity and self respect can do for the man she loves. Maybe you’ve met a lot of women who doesn’t care about those two things, but I am not one of them.

It doesn’t mean my love has limits. You have my whole heart. I gave it to you and I do not regret it because I feel you do love me, and that all of this is real. It’s just to me, there’s a proper time for everything, including physical intimacy.

I am not mad at you. I’ve told you time and again, I couldn’t if I tried. Hurt, yes. Your words were hurtful. To think that I would lower myself like that, how you could think so little of me. But not just that. When you think of me that way, it also feels like you’re questioning my love for you. More than my pride, you hurt my heart.

I respect you as much as I love you. I know—hope, you didn’t mean what you said. I know you go through these things sometimes, and I forgive you. I have told you before, I love you, complete with all your flaws. This might be cliché, but I believe it to be true; “love does not come by finding the perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly.”
